I was so lucky to be able to go to Nashville, TN with my friends last Monday to see the Solar Eclipse. What's pretty cool is that this was the first total solar eclipse in the USA since 1979. Also, the last time a total eclipse was seen from coast to coast was in 1918.
We decided to watch it from this brewery called Tailgate Beer (Charlotte Pike location), and it was so fun! The brewery has an inside and a huge yard with an outdoor barn with seating as well. They have an extensive beer list and also hand-make pizza! Basically, it's the perfect combination.
It was crazy that it got so dark in the middle of the day and as soon as the full solar eclipse happened people started cheering! It was so fun! Unfortunately, I'm not the expert photographer so I didn't get any good photos of the eclipse, but check out my shot below.
P.S. Here's an awesome pic of me and my roommates soaking up that Eclipse!
